Terms of use and notices

Terms of use
This application is operated for your institution by Zen Health Systems LLC (“we”). Your institution decides who has an account here and what each account can see and do.
Your use of it is governed by your institution's written agreement with us, including the Business Associate Agreement that governs protected health information, and by our Terms of Service, which apply here by reference. Where they conflict, your institution's agreement controls. The points below are what those terms mean for working in this application.
Patient information
This application is built to hold patient information, unlike our public website, whose forms must never receive it. Your institution's agreement with us and its own policies govern that information here. Open only the records your work requires. Opening a patient's record is logged, and access granted in an emergency (“break the glass”) is logged for your institution to review.
Your account
Your account is yours alone: don't share it or your password, use multi-factor sign-in where it is offered, and tell your institution's administrator promptly if you suspect someone else has used it. Activity under your account is attributed to you.
Clinical judgment
The tools here organize, track, surface and inform. They do not diagnose, direct treatment, or take the place of professional judgment: licensed clinicians remain the decision-makers, and can review what a tool's view is based on.
Content drafted by artificial intelligence can be incomplete or wrong. It is a draft until a person reviews and approves it. Nothing it drafts becomes part of a patient's record on its own.
Changes and questions
We may update these terms; when we do, the effective date above changes. Questions about your access go to your institution's administrator; questions about these terms to jake@zenhealthsystems.com.
Third-party content notices
This application uses standard code sets that belong to others. Their owners' terms require the notices below.
